PlanetDoom Gets Foxy!
Since my birthday was Monday, Anticonscience and Cyric wanted to take me out for drinks Tuesday night. Cyric decided to drive to Houston rather than Dallas so they both could drive up to the event together. We were able to have a PlanetDoom meeting, which was nice and informative. There was this adorable waitress that was totally Anti’s type. Cyric and I kept asking Anti to ask her out.
The guys allowed me to order a Chocolate cake w/vanilla ice cream but since it was so huge and rich I mainly ate the ice cream. This annoyed both of them so much they kept pushing me to eat more. I just couldn’t from the chicken tacos I had an hour prior. The Fox & Hound was a great place. Of course since I have known these guys since Quake3world days we tend to have a little arguments here and there from time to time. Tonight happened to be a little rant and rave thread indeed. Anti and I began talking about what time was best to leave Houston to get to Dallas with less traffic. Both of us being hard headed would blurt out times that we felt were best, leaving poor Cyric just staring back and forth. Although this time Cyric couldn’t close the thread, it was live in front of him. I felt leaving at 5am on Thursday morning would be best but I was also contemplating whether or not to drive out Wednesday afternoon rather than Thursday morning. This way I could get my computer in the BYOC, and setup MsQcon area at Geekwearz Booth. I also work 1 hr north of where I live. It seemed better to leave on Wednesday after work since it would be an hour lead way to Dallas. I went back and forth saying which one so much that finally Anti exploded with:
“I dont care what you’re doing we’re going to LEAVE at 11am tomorrow and that’s final!”
That had me laughing so hard. I knew my girly ways would get to him sooner or later. The Fox & Hound was a great place to start my trip!
