Gamespot UK released a preview of Dynamix’ Tribes 2. Here is an excerpt:
“When we heard that Tribes 2 was going to be even bigger and better, we had to see for ourselves. The game features an all-new game engine and although Tribes’ outdoor engine was good, Tribes 2 has already eclipsed it. For a start the ground terrain looks a lot smoother and more natural, rather than a series of blocky polygons. Also, there are more natural shapes on the landscape – the mountains and hills have been accented with spires, arcs, and other geological formations.”
