Are you planning on entering the multiplayer online role playing scene?
To get your started, my buddy PharCyde has written up a nice review of Dark Age of Camelot. I have heard a lot of great things about this game by many XP friends I have.
Another friend of mine, LordInsane, beta tested the game in early stages and is addicted more to that then his previous RPG loves: EQ and Diablo 2. That should speak for itself alone. In addition, here are some more MMPORG blurbs:
