I wasn’t able to attend E3 this year. I have went every year for the past 3 years so I feel bad, I enjoy talking to most of you who bump into me to say hi. 🙂 Nevertheless, my brother DarkViper went and had fun as normal. Some of you emailed me telling me you talked to him at the event this year. Other than that, I had some time to check out the new Jedi knight PC game. The game is awesome from where I have went so far.
I have had some free time at home lately so I started digging into my PC games that I brought from California. I was so ticked off that I have MANY manuals for a lot of great games but many of these games are at my storage in California. :/ Oh well. So I ended up re-installing Red Alert 2 to give that another try. I never really made time to play it when I was sent the game back when it first was released. I tried it out and past the first 3 levels with Tanya (Red Alert Allied character) back then but work and life in general pushed away in time to really dig into the game. I have enjoyed it so much the past two days that I need to buy Yuri’s expansion once I am done with these campaigns. Westwood put a lot of work into this game. I don’t care what people say about it not being 3D. Right now I don’t need 3D, I am completely satisfied. I haven’t played this much single player with a passion since Age of Kings (Age of Empires 2) and when the expansion came out with that. That’s a game I have to finish yet too. I am actually stuck on some Chinese mission that’s 3 against 1 (me). One of the stronger Chinese dude keeps building this freaken Wonder and I can’t ever reach him to kill it in time. I sort of gave that game a break for a while from getting so frustrated.
As most of you already know, I am a strategy gamer at heart. As much as I love First Person shooters, the original C&C game is what brought me to the multiplayer gaming online world. I later fell into the pit of Quake and so FPS is something I have loved too. Hey, that reminds me… I have still yet to buy C&C Renegade. :/ I played it at my friend’s house when it came out but they lived in Dallas so I haven’t played it since I moved to Houston last March. *sniff*
