Back in early 2005 I broke up with my b/f of nearly four years (long story) and at the time I stopped sharing so much about myself. I cared a lot for him and a part of the break off was completely everything, including sharing anything that was happening in my life.
By the time I finally was able to get caligirl.net working again I ended up being busy with school and work. I did take the time to link you to other sites I mingle with. Now here’s some more of the scoop into the life of CaliGirl or some of you know me more as Jody Robinson or JodyR (if you’re a GameSpot user).
YouTube Junkie . In case you haven’t noticed I’m a real youtube junkie these days. There’s nothing like turning off the TV because there’s so much more happening with people in the real world. My latest videos are about me recording a song and making a music video. It’s great so see the feedback that comes in but it would be nice to have some honest opinions for improvements if I decide to make another one for fun.
Lights, Camera, Action!
Other interesting things are related to video editing or being in front of the camera.
• I co-hosted GameSpot’s E3 live coverage, basically asking user questions, which was an interesting experience in itself.
• Then I attended Quakecon, amazing as always.
• Filmed and edited two videos for a side project I did for E3 and Quakecon in relation to Women who work in the game industry.
• Involved with Tournament TV again: I can’t say I’m awesome but I do get on GameSpot’s TTV from time to time. Gears of War months ago months ago, Gears of War finals a few weeks ago few weeks ago, and Rainbow Six Vegas finals
By the way, I wrote my experience for Quakecon and E3 (you know, the journey articles I am known to do), and I just need someone to proof read it before I make those live. gah! Most of my activity is on youtube with random things I’ll share these days but I’ll do my best to share as often as I can here again in the near future. Although, if it’s gaming related it will definitely be on my GameSpot profile (JodyR).
