A few people at work shared their love for games. One of them is more into consoles, the other played Doom back in the day. He basically blamed it on not having any time nowadays, and how he hasn’t upgraded his computer for the last 10 yrs. I told him about Doom 3, he couldn’t believe how far the graphics has come. I also told him about Quakecon. He was like, “Quakewah?” Yes, he was that OUT of the loop.
Movie talk… the last Matrix wasn’t bad as I thought it would be. I read some mixed reviews so by the time I went to see it, I didn’t expect much out of it concerning the storyline. The Chainsaw Massacre was a movie I should have waited off to rent it. I saw the older movies when I was so young but they seemed to scare me more than the new one did. I have mixed feelings on this one.
Finding Nemo and Legally Blonde 2 are two movies I rented this weekend. Finding Nemo was well done. I fell in love with the turtles.. think that was my favorite part besides how AWESOME the aquarium looked. It made me miss the old days when I used to buy fish for my own aquarium! *sniff* The baby turtles were the cutest characters I have seen in a long time.
Something about baby turtles like Squirt in animation… it makes you want to pinch their baby face cheeks! Yes, it’s a girl thing. Now Legally Blonde may not have been better than the first but it was cute. If you love dogs and dont mind chick flicks, you’ll like the sequel. But if you don’t either… dont bother watching it. 🙂
