I saw Star Wars Episode 2 movie opening night. Oddly enough, the theater wasn’t packed in Houston. We arrived at 10:20 pm for the 10:45pm showing. I think people didn’t know the movie opened on a Thursday night. We used this to our advantage. I had to see it again a few days later. This movie brought back a lot of memories as a child growing up. I used to love the way the robots used to argue and say some funny things. There was a lot more action in this movie, which was something I would have liked in the first episode. Speaking of Star Wars related items, International House of Mojo has an interview with Simon Jeffery, LucasArts PR, about the Star Wars games.
Excerpt:
Simon: It’s a real focus on every Star Wars game because there’s been so much Star Wars product now, and we’re talking about a few years ago when everything we did was Star Wars. A lot of gamers thought the games released didn’t feel special. And I don’t want to say anything bad about Star Trek, but when you look at what happened with Star Trek quality and gaming, it just became this cluttered, confused mess because no one knew what was what.
